Baseball Cards Price

How do you use the "multiplier" section in the Baseball Guide?

In the Baseball Price Guide SP (Short Print) on the card, you are to use the mulitiplier area. And how do you uses it to find the value of a card. A card; when that Player shows a "SP" next to its Name? I still need to understand how to figure out "Mulitipliers" X 0.5- X 3 of the base card price.. Because when I use the multiplier some of the Base Cards end up as a VALUE MORE then the SP (short Print) cards. It doesn't make since. Please I KNOW there or MANY BASEball lovers out there, that must be able to help me!

  1. I don't think there's much rhyme or reason to baseball card pricing, it's more like guesswork. If you think about it, most people would probably rather have a regular Derek Jeter than a Luis Gonzalez insert, so it makes some sense.
