How do I get my friend Robbie to buy me a new pair of underwear after he left track marks in some he borrowed?

Robbie passed out at my place last weekend cause he was too drunk to go home. No problem. He woke up the next day and asked if he could borrow a pair of my boxers so he didn't have to go commando. I'm a nice guy, so I said sure. Now, I'm not rich - but underwear is definitely one of my splurges. You never know who could end up seeing your drawers, so I opt for the nicer brands - 2xist, Calvin Klein, Polo, etc. Anyway, I lent him a pretty nice pair that came back a little too brown for comfort. I want him to buy me a new pair, but how do I bring it up?

Next time keep and old pair on hand for emergencies, and let the person have them. I wouldn't be lending my good underwear to anyone. Someone who is dense enough to return unclean borrowed underwear is not going to understand why they need to buy you a new pair. This must be a guy thing.
Sharing underwear is gross in the first place so its your own fault. you never let someone else by a pair of your undies....
One. Give them back as a gift and add a card that says,"Thanks but these are the wrong color." Or just flat out tell him in private," Sorry pal, not acceptable". Or try, " Hey! I'm going to the doctor soon...

Men you are way too cool as a friend !! I would not ask that question, if your friend was rude enough to return your underwear in such conditions, you should be just as rude and tell him right up-front. Good luck buddy !!
