Baseball Cards Price

BASEBALL CARDS - Values for Several Sets...?

I'm not an Ebay'er and the local book store doesn't carry Becketts and I would like to find the "ballpark" value for each of the following complete sets. My son bought the boxes and immediatly placed them in binders. He's now in college and needs some extra $$ and wants me to sell them in our upcoming yard sale. I'm looking for separate sets values as well as your suggestions for a "One Price Takes All". 86-90 TOPPS TRADED 1986 TOPPS 1987 TOPPS 1988 TOPPS 1988 FLEER 1989 TOPPS 1990 TOPPS 1991 FLEER 1992 UPPER DECK 1993 TOPPS (Series II) 1994 TOPPS 1995 TOPPS (Seies I) 1995 FLEER 1996 TOPPS 1997 MANTLE "Shoebox"

  1. For one price takes all I would go with $200.
  2. Alot of topps aye,...i used to do that too, i have complete sets from 1986-1997 and i got back into it again last year and have 07 and im more than half way of collecting series 1 of 2008. Too bad you didnt have Topps Stadium Club during the early 90's. It was a premium set and is worth more. But Upper Deck is the better set but too bad you have 1992, which is like worth 20 bucks now If you had 89 or 90 there were some good rookie cards that year which would give your collections value,. And 1994 upper deck is very sought after because of Jeter's rookie card. Even thouhg you will not like it, i would say 150-175 for your cards is about right.
  3. of course you know that the value of baseballs cards is based on what someone is willing to pay for them.
  4. The idiot who claims you could get $200 doesn't have a clue about what he's talking about, which is the norm here. ALL those sets are mass produced sets, meaning they're are way too many out there, therefore the actual complete sets aren't worth that much. Most of those sets go for about 5-10 bucks a piece, a couple around 20, but it's a buyers market, so if you actually got someone who wanted to buy all of them off you, and we're assuming their in mint condition which is the only way to sell anything after 1980, you might get 60-75 bucks total, but it ain't going to happen. Just go into Ebay and check around, you'll see I've probably given you the "high" price. In most cases, there won't even be bids on those sets. The Jeter rookie the one guy is talking about is worth about 2 or 3 bucks, because again, it's from a mass produced set. Like I say, the sets are overproduced and no one wants them. As for needing a lot of money, you won't get them from those sets. Sorry.
