How do I find out the value of old baseball and basketball cards?

U have a book filled with old baseball and basketball cards and I'm trying to find out whats the value for the cards that I have.

3. The number one source in the hobby is none other than the Beckett publications. You can find most rookie card prices in these books and each hobby sport has a book. Baseball, Football, Basketball, Hockey, Racing, collectibles, etc. They also have an online version in addition to the hard copy books that they publish. Most of these books can be found in many book stores and Amazon as well. I purchase mine directly from them.
