Some Gamestop questions regarding trade-ins + Edge Card?
I am planning on trading in 8 Gamecube games, 5 Wii games, A Nintendo Gamecube console (With chords, one controller, 1019 block memory card), and a Nintendo Game Boy Advance SP. How much do you think I would get for those (They are also having a trade in deal where if I turn in 4 Wii games, I get an extra $20, so that adds some good cash to that). So how much should I get? Also, does Gamestop even take Gamecube games and the console anymore? Question number 2, can I trust a Microsoft refurbished XBOX 360? Can I trust an XBOX 360 Arcade? I believe both of those still come with Microsoft warranties anyways. Now, I plan on getting the trade in money on an Edge card (Edge Card adds 10% trade in value, plus gives 10% discounts). But if I buy an XBOX 360 with half cash, and the other half of the money on an Edge card, do I still get the full 10% discount? Thankyou for your time, and here is a list of the games I am selling... -Call of Duty 3 (Wii) -Metroid Prime 3 (Wii) -Medal of Honor Heroes 2 (Wii) -MLB 2K8 (Wii) -Red Steel (Wii) -Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Double Agent (Wii) -The Simpsons Game (Wii) -Madden 2005 (GC) -MVP Baseball 2005 (GC) -Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (GC) -Wrestlemania XIX (GC) -Wrestlemania X8 (GC) -WWE Day of Reckoning (GC) -Simpsons Hit and Run (GC) -MLB 2K6 (GC) All I'm hoping for is at around $100 for this, which I should get by trading all of these in. ANd also, I want an XBOX ASAP. I could sell on Ebay, but that requires waiting a week for bidding, taking care of shipping, and making sure all of the payments worked okay. It's annoying. I think I might just get a new Arcade, because my friend offered to give me his 2GB Memory Card (Which is all I need to start off), and does Gamestop still sell warranties? Because I also want to buy a one year warranty because of the XBOX 360's high failure rate.

- to tell the truth yo0u will probably get about a quarter of what you think you will get.
- The Wii games should get you some good cash. However, GameStop stopped taking XBOX games and XBOX consoles so I would assume they've done the same for Gamecube. I would stay away from the refurbished 360s. I would get the basic $200 package and get GameStop's $20, one year warranty. However this package only comes with a 256 MB hard drive. You can take it home, open it up and take the harddrive back and get between 15 and 20 dollars for it, then buy a bigger hard drive.
- sell them on EBAY. unless you really want to sell back to gamestop, you are going to get ripped off big time. i had a game i played ONCE and hated it. payed 40$ they would pay me 13$ that is with my edge. sold on ebay for 35$.
- sorry to say this but all of those games are old and outdated. i'm guess 3 bucks for each of those gamecube games, and maybe 10 bucks for the wii ones
- how much you get seems to have to do with how popular the game is in my experience, but still gamestop will not give you much and it would be more worth your time to sell these on ebay and possibly make enough money from them to buy an XBOX 360 pro system... but that is just my opinion...been doing a lot of trading and buying at gamestop recently, and a lot of people say that used xbox 360's tend to fail.
- The most I think u will get is 106 dollars because I did the exact same thing as u but they'll only give u 13 dollars for the gamecube. 2) the xbox 360 arcade is good but unless u have a hard drive or a memory card it's bad because u can't save. Either get the 60 GB Pro or the 120 GB Elite or you can save your money until november 10 for the 250 GB Modern Warfare 2 Xbox 360 Elite. The Arcade is $199 (it also has no Hard drive or memory card) The Pro is $249 (get it before it get discontinued) The Elite is $299 (it's the best) The Call Of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2 Elite is $299 (it has 2 black controllers, standard version of modern warfare 2, a headset, an Ethernet cable and a XBOX LIVE Silver Membership (when u make one) (its way better than the regular elite).
