Baseball Cards Price

Beckett 2009 Baseball Card Price Guide Question!???!?

There are 2 columns in the price guide that are based on a baseball card's "grade". For instance: Geroge Brett 1975 Topps $80 $40 What the heck does that mean? What grade are they referring to for the first column, and what grade do they mean in the second column? Thanks!

  1. I believe one is mint condition and the other isn't
  2. Right now the low column is what you could expect to get for a mint card - it used to be the high column was what you could get.
  3. Low and high columns. The high one is the average sale price where as the low is what you can expect to pay if you have patience and spend some time looking around.
