How Do I Sell Old Football, Baseball, & Basketball Cards?
Also more importantly how do I find out their worth and value? I also have old comic books too. What are the books and or websites I should use? Thanks!!

- Ebay.com is the best resource to see what they are currently selling for.
- There are websites that will have archives of old cards based on the year and card number. Try Upper Deck's and Topps' site. As far as selling them, eBay is your best option.
- www.ebay.com is always a good source for finding going prices of things. you can also sell them there. Of course a local comic book store or hobby or whatnot store might also give you price ranges or buy your things.
- sell them on www.ebay.com
- ebay is the best route. Make sure you look up their value first though and put a reserve on most wanted or those that are worth alot, so you do not have to sell them if they do not reach a certain price!
- BECKETT GUIDES COME OUT MONTHLY FOR SPORTS CARDS...AND MOST COMIC BOOK SHOPS CARRY PRICE LISTS OR GUIDES FOR COMIC BOOKS...GO TO WWW.MARVELCOMICS.COM...OR TRY WWW,BECKETTGUIDE.COM BUT NEVER EVER SELL TO A SPORTS CARD DEALER...I HAD A SMALL COLLECTION OF ABOUT 300 CARDS VALUED IN BECKETT GUIDES AT ROUGHLY 1600 BUCKS....I SOLD AND TRADED, AND GOT ONLY 200. BUILD A DATABASE OF OTHER COLLECTORS...GO TO YAHOO FORUMS, AND GOOGLE GROUPS THAT YOU CAN NETWORK WITH THAT MAY HAVE THE OPEN RESOURCES YOU NEED.
- you can go either to eBay (keep in mind they'll pay pretty much anything) or you can go to local or regional events that are usually held at expo marts or convention centers etc. they usually have these several times a year however keep in mind you're going into the lions dens here. these people LIVE trading cards so they'll know what it's worht and make sure they pay less for it. also they are FAR more picky about condition of the cards than anyone else. There are many guides or resources that offer the cards value and such however the single most trusted (and unofficial industry standard) is the Beckett Guides. These are like the Kelly Blue Books for the card trading industry. they are sold at any local card shop or even online. they are monthly issued and are very accurate in their appraisals. they make ones for all sports including the ones mentioned above. get one of each and see the ballpark of what they're worth and then you can get an idea of what's a fair price for them. Also note that the condition of the cards is EXTREMELY important. even the slightest dog eared corner or smudge can descrease the value so be aware of that.
- ebay for selling beckett.com for pricing
- ebay
- ebay would be a good place to start.
