Found baseball cards in the attick?

Ok so me and my fiance just moved to our new house and when we were checking the attick we found a big box full of old baseball cards.. how do we find out if they have value?? Is there like a book or something??

3. If you give me the year and some of the names I can give you an idea. Beckett.com is the online source, but you will need to buy a subcription to get pricing. Or you can get the Beckett Almanac, which is very useful, but hard to read if you are not familiar with baseball cards to begin with.
