- check ebay or the google searching what you have
- Beckett is good
- The best way is to get a Beckett price guide sold in many stores. I think you can also find Beckett on the internet.
- Most card stores will have Card Price guides for sell. They're usually pretty reliable.
- Beckett is a good spot. Don't forget that your card must be graded to be worth the graded value. The grading on your cards must also be renewed for the grading value to be true. You probably don't want to get your cards graded unless you are sure you want to sell them in the short term - otherwise, you could spend a lot of money just keeping the grading up & it really isn't that important to the collection itself (again, unless you are actively selling).
- In Beckett's print-version publications, they provide values for cards absed on their grade. You can also get lots of information about specific graded cards at the PSA web site...it will give you a good sense of which cards are being submitted for grading (a good indicator or future value) and the various grades those cards have received thus far.
- Go to eBay and under the search box, type in "Graded Cards". Once this selection comes up, add the specifics on the card you are seeking information on and you will immmediately see what the world thinks your card is worth by watching what someone pays for it at the end of the auction. Most accurate way to determine any cards value is to see what someone was willing to pay for it today! Classic example of what and how values can change overnight are the values of all "Barry Bonds" cards. One day, no scandal, his rookie card was worth well over $50. The day after he was accused of taking steroids his cards value dropped approximately 75% in value. Big OUCH if you were on the wrong end of this sudden change. Collector cards are a lot like common stocks. They are subject to bad news or good news on any given day.
