Baseball Cards Price

Can anyone recomend a good place to sell my old baseball card collection? I?

I know I have a quite a few that are probably worth some good money, including a few complete sets from 1986 and 1987 in books or frames. I don't want to do the homework of checking the value of each card but I don't want to give them away for next to nothing either. I live in Wheaton, IL. Thank you.

  1. try ebay or your local card stores
  2. i suggest ebay. on certain days the insertion price is lower. there are also businesses that help you sell things on ebay. most card stores rip you off.
  3. Check a local shop, maybe they could give you a bid on them. Or you could do a little work and sell the lot on ebay. Listing the cards included and so on. good luck.
  4. DON'T SELL! Cards from the 80's are worth absolutely nothing since they were overproduced and sell for cheap. From recent auctions on eBay, 87 Topps sets sell for around $5/set and 87 Topps averages $3/set
  5. Join Yahoo Groups for Sports Cards or Baseball Cards and Post What You have for Sale. Topps are over produced but Fleer and Donruss are not, look for Rookie Cards which will be in Demand. Any Barry Bonds Cards Hot and any small Sets like Fleer Update, Topps Rookies or if Donruss has a Rookie Set will be more Valuable. Most Cards wil not be Valuable called Common Cards go for 2 to 4 Cents.
