What is the best way to find out the value of some comic books,stamps and baseball cards?

1. search auctions that have already finished on eBay
2. Try ebay, go to antique dealers that specialize in that area, look at books on the subject that are up to date at the library.
3. I am not sure for the other things but for baseball cards. I use beckett.com it costs me 5 dollars for a monthly subscription but I can find out the current and updated value on all my baseball cards and keep a running list of the ones I own. if i wish to sell any of them they also give you the ability to trade with other collectors on there website.
4. You can Purchase Catalogs for Comics, Stamps and Baseball Cards at Bookstores, Dealers of that Topic. Magazines are also Published Monthly for Cards, Stamps and I do Believe for 4 to 5 Dollars at Newsstands or by Subscriptions from the Publishers. These will reflect the current Market Value of these Items. Auction Houses sell below Book Value.
