Baseball Cards Price

What would be the best way to sell my loose, wrapped, and sealed set baseball card collection?

I have recently got out my baseball cards from when I was a kid to see if they're worth any money. I'm not looking to make a fortune, since I'm sure I won't... but I would like to get good value out of them. I have five complete originally sealed sets (Topps '88-'92). I also have sealed and unsealed boxes, not sets... but the boxes that sold the packs of cards. Topps, Donruss, Leaf, and Stadium Club Topps from the late 80's-early 90's. Since these are not complete sets, I am wondering how they are more valuable. All the individual packs are sealed in the unsealed boxes and obviously in the sealed boxes. Do they need to be opened to find out which cards I have or will the sealed packs be more valuable and does it matter if the boxes are factory sealed? I also have close to 5000 if not more loose cards of all sorts of brands and years, even sports. Are these cards worth more as a bunch or is it worth spending the time to look up the value of each individual card? I even have the old baseball coin collections. I'm trying to buy a PS3 so I need the money!!! Please help!!!

  1. The market is so bad on cards right now you would be lucky to earn the price of 1 game sell them in a big box don't open anything sealed ...I would try I offer or e-bay the sealed sets could give you some money due to some good rookie cards in the 80's Ebay it
