Jared is of course talking out of his a$$. The whole set isn't worth a tenth of what that idiot is claiming those cards are worth. They need to change this to "yahoo guesses" I'm so sick of people passing off uniformed guesses as answers. A mint condition 56 card like that is worth a little, under $50 and you need to get a Beckett guide and look it up instead of getting a bunch of guesses here.
If it's one card than you're probably referring to the 1958 Rival Fence Busters card #436 which featured both Mays and Snider. http://i24.ebayimg.com/01/i/001/25/1b/2150_1.JPG The "book" value is about $75 but unless it's professionally graded about $40-$50 sounds fair if it is truly in NrMt condition. One minor crease or defect and the value drops in half.

Is it one card with both players on it or one card of each player? There were no multiplayer cards in 1956, so if he says both players are on one card, he is off on the year.
