How can I find out the value of a rare baseball card?

We have a Sandy Kofax rookie card and were wondering what the value may be and where it may be sold.

1. Becketts has the best price guides, Tuff Stuff is ok too. I would try e-bay or a local card shop for selling it.
2. There are a few ways to do this. You can go to a baseball card dealer, there may be some shops in your area, check the yellow pages. Second, you can look for ads for baseball cards shows. They are there, believe me. Go to a show and have a look around. Third, pick up a copy of Becketts baseball card magazine, they list the prices for all cards in there and are considered the bible of the collecting industry. Whatever you choose, DON'T be swayed by dealers. Keep it. It's worth more the longer you save it.
