how can figure out the prices of baseball cards to sell?

when i look on the back of the baseball cards do i use the last year that is on the card or what?

1. You use a few things. one is brand..topps, donruss, fleer, upper deck, ect. you also look at the card # and the latest year you see on the card. a good place to find prices is to look in a beckett magazine or their website.
2. Go to your local library & use the latest issue of Becketts Baseball, to determine value of cards. Using library's magazine means you won't have to spend your money on buying a magazine. The stats on back are last years stats, for example a 2008 card will have 2007 stats on it
