Do you think the prices of Barry Bonds baseball cards will increase or decrease in price?
Barry Bonds has had a fantastic career. Everyone knows that he is on pace to break the all time home record in early June. He holds several other records too. The prices of Barry Bonds rookie cards have been holding steady at what I think are some pretty low values. Do you think that his cards will: 1. Go up in value with the publicity and his breaking the HR record? 2. Go down in value as people are sick of the steriod issue? 3. Will just stay at the current values as no on ereally cares too much?

- i think they will go up. especially when he breaks the record and eventually makes the hall choice 1
- Did the price of McGwire's cards go up when he broke the single season mark...not a lot! I don't really care if Bonds' cards go up, but they more than likely will (as long as they put an asterisk next to the price!). 1
- They will go up. Because let's say you bought A rookie card for 20$ recently, in about five years it will go up because no real attention will be paid to steroids anymore and people will remember his hitting ability. I know it might sound far fetched but nobody is going to care about steroids because so many used them and the past records can't be changed.
- I think it will drop in price . Due to people being sick of the example he is setting for the kids, with the use of steriods.
