What is the best outlet to find the value of baseball cards? A friend of mine recently came across a box of older (1980's and on) baseball and other sports/trading cards. Most are well known brands (Topps, etc.) and almost all are sealed packages. Other than searching through ebay for each individual pack/card/set, or trusting a local memorabilia dealer, is there an efficient way to find out if these cards are worth any value? Or would it be better to open the packs and search for uncommon cards?

Are baseball cards still good investment? I don't like Baseball. But I do like collecting; Especially trading cards. But I usually only collect of what I like(usually cartoons items and such, I.E. Pokemon, Yu-gi-oh, Bella Sara, ETC). If I have extra money I think I'd like to invest in something I don't fan of. I'm thinking baseball cards. Are they still a good investment? What are your experiences with collecting baseball cards?
Where is a good place to sell baseball cards? I have about 30,000 baseball cards mostly from the 1980's sitting in a closet collecting dust. I would love to get rid of them and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on where I can go to sell the cards for a reasonable value. I've attempted to contact trading card shops around but they all want to offer 10% value at best to buy them. Suggestions?
Are there any valuable baseball cards from the early 1990s? I found a box of over 1,000 baseball cards, all from 1991-1993. I can't find any trading card shop willing to sort through them all, so I want to do it myself - donate the worthless ones and sell any that might be worth a little bit. I'm not looking to make a fortune off of them, but are there any cards from that time period that may be worth selling (certain players, kinds of cards, rare finds, etc.) that I can look through my collection for? Thank you!
Is the Indians front office like a little kid trading baseball cards, who has no clue what they are doing? Why did they trade Garko? Yet another class A guy They keep getting these guys for the minors but they never make it to the Tribe because they get traded if they are doing any good. Should they do a cleaning of the front office when the season is over? You know my opinion. What do you think good trade or bad? the only problem is sportz fans they don't rebuild they just trade them or release them once they are any good to save money, that is why their minor league clubs are so good, it's the same thing over and over again. the problem is Browns,Cavs & Indians is that he won't get rid of a guy like Peralta who usually finishe at like .220 or worse every season, and hits into double plays alot. They save money but they never use it. I think Wedge & Shapiro have to go and get some management that can still save but won't make stupid saves. Look at Columbus the Clippers (Indians AAA Team) have some good pitching I believe and even at the AA & A levels too. They just never use them for some reason.
how much would these baseball cards be worth? I'm not sure how to explain it--so im just going to read everything the box says: Fleer (the company) Baseball Cards, 10th Anniversary Edition 1990 Update Trading Cards with logo stickers printed in U.S.A. the box is in mint condition and it's still in its original wrapper.
Baseball cards number on the back?? experts on trading cards ok, so im looking through an old folder and i find a whole bunch a baseball cards, none that look real valuable though. but anyways, i am looking through ebay to see what cards i can find, and most of the people put the card number and out of how many were printed. (ex.50/150) so im looking at the cards i found, and there is a number on the back, so im guessing thats the card number, but how do i know out of how many are printed?? it only shows one number. (for example, there is a ken griffey jr. topps gallery 1996 card with the number 146 on the top left corner..........but how many of these were printed??) im guessing the fewer that were printed, the higher the value right? well, i would really appreciate it if any one new the answer to these Q's, thanks a lot! well, the cards dont look valuable because the card number on all of them is pretty high, which leads me to believe that probably lots of them were printed, but no, there is only one number on the back, thats the card number, but it doesnt say how many were printed...........
