How can I value this Reggie Jackson, Topps, baseball card? I have a 1982, Topps, Reggie Jackson card that I believe is a one of a kind error card. How and/or where can I value this card. I wouldn't trust a local card dealer. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. It's #551 and his name is not printed across the bottom as it should be. Why is a Barry Bonds Topps 1986 baseball card worth so little? In going through some of my childhood things, I found a Topps 1986 Barry Bonds baseball card and have been researching its value. The card was kept in a baseball card album and is in near mint condition, as best I can tell. 1986 was his rookie year, and he played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, back then. What is the best outlet to find the value of baseball cards? A friend of mine recently came across a box of older (1980's and on) baseball and other sports/trading cards. Most are well known brands (Topps, etc.) and almost all are sealed packages. Other than searching through ebay for each individual pack/card/set, or trusting a local memorabilia dealer, is there an efficient way to find out if these cards are worth any value? Or would it be better to open the packs and search for uncommon cards?

Complete set baseball cards value over time? From a previous question, I'm getting the idea that my cards, including 5 complete sets from 88-92 are not very valuable right now. My question is looking at values of older sets, say from the 60's and 70's, they are extremely valuable since they are so old. Baseball card collection? Is it me or does it seem like the market for baseball cards, even old ones, has depreciated (gone down in value)? I have a few rookie Dave Winfield. Years ago, I had once checked the value and it was worth $100. Now, EBAY says it is $8-12. Now, I know they are NOT making more of these cards, so is it just that EBAY and internet has increased the supply of these cards to the market. I just don't see the "sold my baseball card collection to put kid through college" stories anymore. Or am I totally missing something? I guess part of the autograph stuff is you need certificate of authenticity due to so many scams. I guess for me I handed them the ball to sign so its just memories with no value on the marketplace. Do they need to be opened to find out which cards I have or will the sealed packs be more valuable and does it matter if the boxes are factory sealed? I also have close to 5000 if not more loose cards of all sorts of brands and years, even sports. Are these cards worth more as a bunch or is it worth spending the time to look up the value of each individual card? I even have the old baseball coin collections.
